Displaying a web page, PDF, or Word file for your syllabus

Note: To complete these procedures, you must be assigned a role having the necessary permissions. For a basic understanding of roles and permissions, see What are Permissions and Roles?

You can direct your site's syllabus to an HTML, PDF, or Microsoft Word file that you've uploaded to Resources, or to an external URL. To redirect your syllabus, follow the appropriate instructions below.

Note: If you don't see the Syllabus tool in your site's tool menu, the site owner may have chosen not to use it. Site owners can add the Syllabus tool using Site Info; see How do I choose which tools will be available in my course?
