“Preparing for Sakai 23” Online Workshops

During the “Preparing for Sakai 23” workshops, instructors will learn about significant new features in Sakai 23, become familiar with Sakai 23 using their own course site content, and ask questions about how this new version will affect teaching and learning in their courses.

Major Sakai Upgrade in August

Sakai at PLU will be upgraded from version 21 to version 23 on Saturday, August 24, 2024. While almost all content and tools will transition seamlessly with the upgrade, instructors should expect a new user interface in addition to new features. Instructors are encouraged to proactively explore Sakai 23 by attending a Preparing for Sakai 23 workshop later this spring and/or using the Preview Course in Sakai 23 form to preview how some of their current course sites would look in Sakai 23.
